Introducing Scheduled Monitoring: One Capture Proves a Moment, a Series Proves a Story

Every dispute over online content eventually reaches the same question: what exactly was published on that page — and when did it change? A single capture answers the first half. Until today, the second half required remembering to come back.

Today we are launching scheduled monitoring: automatic forensic captures of any public web page, daily or weekly, at the time you choose. Every capture is a complete Evidence ZIP with an eIDAS qualified timestamp — identical to a proof you would create by hand.

What we built

You create a monitor by entering a URL, picking a frequency and a capture time. A test capture runs immediately — if the page cannot be monitored (login required, hard bot protection), you find out within a minute, and that first successful capture already becomes proof number one of your series.

From then on, the capture runs on schedule without you. Each run goes through the exact same forensic pipeline as a manual proof: full-page screenshot, complete HTML, HAR, SHA-256 manifest, append-only hash chain, a qualified timestamp from an EU-accredited trust service provider, and a Bitcoin anchor.

A security camera, not a motion detector

We deliberately built monitoring around regular scheduled captures rather than change-triggered ones. A tool that only records "when something moves" invites the courtroom question: how do you know your detection didn't miss anything? There is no good answer to that.

A scheduled series has an answer: a sealed, independently verifiable snapshot exists for every scheduled day. Change detection still exists — when a capture differs from the previous one, you get an email pointing at the new proof — but it is a notification layer on top of the evidence, never the trigger for it.

What our users monitor

Competitor terms and pricing pages ahead of unfair-competition disputes. Suspicious e-shops that change seller identities and claims before disappearing. Defamatory articles that get silently edited once lawyers appear. And their own published content — terms, disclosures, consent flows — as a self-maintaining compliance record.

Honest limits

Monitoring covers publicly accessible pages (server capture); whether a page qualifies is verified automatically at creation. Between two scheduled captures there is no continuous recording — a change that appears and vanishes between runs is not recorded, which is why volatile pages deserve the daily frequency. And if a site starts blocking automated access, the monitor pauses itself and tells you, rather than failing silently.
